The adventure begins mid-morning with a visit to the Milodon Cave Natural Monument, 24 km from Puerto Natales. At this site steeped in natural history, we'll explore the imposing cavern where the remains of a prehistoric mammal, the Milodon, were discovered, along with other vestiges that reveal the antiquity and paleontological richness of Patagonia. Our guide will share stories that connect us with the first inhabitants and local legends. We continued towards Torres del Paine National Park, entering through the Río Serrano entrance. This access point takes us into the southern part of the park, framed by landscapes of forests, rushing rivers, and the first distant views of the Paine massif. Our tour begins in the Lago Grey sector, one of the most spectacular spots in the park. Here we'll have time for lunch (not included) and, weather permitting, a walk to the beach to observe the icebergs floating from Grey Glacier, part of the vast Southern Patagonian Ice Field. The image of the blue icebergs against the mountainous landscape is an unforgettable memory. The route continues towards the Pehoé Lookout, famous for the intensity of its turquoise waters and its reflection of the Paine Horns.Very close by is the Salto Grande, a powerful waterfall that connects Lake Nordenskjöld with Lake Pehoé, where the roar of the water reminds us of the force of nature.Afterwards, we continued towards the Nordenskjöld Lake Lookout, surrounded by an imposing landscape that allows us to observe part of the glacial geography and the mountains that form the iconic silhouette of the park. The departure point is the Laguna Amarga Gate, from where we begin our return journey to Puerto Natales. Our penultimate stop will be at the Laguna Amarga Lookout, a flamingo habitat and a prime spot for observing the Granite Towers up close. These towers give the park its name and, at sunset, are often bathed in golden and reddish hues. The tour then ends at the Lago Sarmiento viewpoint, where you can appreciate the geological formations along the shores and enjoy sweeping views of the Paine massif. It is also an excellent spot for observing wildlife such as guanacos, foxes, and birds of prey. Finally, we began our return journey to Villa Cerro Castillo and then to Puerto Natales, arriving around 7:00 pm, after an unforgettable day exploring the Eighth Wonder of the World.
